At Har Sinai Temple (HST), we embrace the differences that make Jewish life and learning today such a delightful, vibrant, and interactive experience. Diversity and inclusivity are the cornerstones of our Religious School philosophy and a sincere reflection of how we practice our Jewish values. As such, we welcome children and families from all backgrounds, and embrace those from interfaith, LGBTQA+, single-parent, and other backgrounds and situations.
What makes our Religious School program so beloved and well-attended is the thoughtful, comprehensive curriculum designed to engage and inspire the student at every level. Our Religious School is so much more than just a place where students learn information and get ready for their B’nai Mitzvah. It’s a place where significant personal and spiritual growth happens. We are intentional about building a holistic educational model that recognizes the value of creating strong bonds with the broader Har Sinai Community – in a way that brings joy and learning beyond the classroom.
Creative programming such as art, modern music, cooking, gardening, and even Hebrew yoga/meditation are interspersed with the traditional classroom setting for a well-rounded Jewish cultural experience. Our Religious School Director / Rabbi creates an immersive, compelling, and enriching experience that is unique to Har Sinai Temple – and is demonstrated in our committed students and families from Consecration to Confirmation.
