Shabbat

Shabbat is the highlight of our week, where music lifts our souls, beautiful prayers inspire us, and relationships deepen.

The Rabbi’s d’var Torah (sermon) makes us think about ourselves and our place in the world. We come together every Friday night for services followed by a festive Oneg Shabbat. From time to time, services are led by various groups in the congregation such as the Religious School children or the women of our Sisterhood. A schedule of our services is available on this website and in weekly communications to the congregation.

For Families

Our congregational services are warm, musical and energetic, just like your family!  We believe in the power of prayer to bring generations together and are continually creating opportunities to engage the youngest members of the community. Look for books and toys to help keep youngsters occupied throughout the service.  Do your children need to move? No problem!  It’s ok to dance and sing along with the congregation in expressions of our beautiful liturgy. During the service, children are invited to the bimah to help our clergy lead the Kiddush and Motzi.
